God So Loves Decay

Commissioned by Sunridge Avenue Projects (2016), this was a one-off performance in Luton town centre, working with punk musician, Russ Crimewave.

Reading from a bespoke publication of the collected lyrics of Luton post-punk band, UK Decay, Russ Crimewave adopted the role of a street preacher. Over the course of one afternoon, outside the Town Hall, he preached the entire back catalogue of UK Decay and distributed copies of the publication, for free, to passing members of the public.

This performance took place with the full knowledge and support of original members of UK Decay. Copies of the publication can be purchased from my webstore.
