Zündkerze
A three person show at Matthew Bown Gallery, Berlin (2010) with Damien Roach and Sarah Marten, curated by David Thorp. Each artist had their own room with a selection of works.
This room centred around an architectural construction roughly based on a British bus-stop and the three material elements – the shelter (a liminal space, not a destination in its own right), OSB board (a material often seen boarding up windows), UV lighting (reminiscent of sci-fi/futuristic aesthetics, also a practical lighting method to prevent intravenous drug use in public spaces).
